Putting Technology Into Your Hands
What are the advantages to replacing my current cap with the Wik?
The Wik is a direct replacement for your current cap AND pump assembly. Once you've installed the Wik you will never have to replace a check valve, plunger rod or pump cylinder - and you will never bend over and pump air into a can again!
Is it expensive?
The Wik costs about the same as a replacement cap assembly, $95 - less than the cost of a replacement cap and pump assembly. And, if you order 6 or more, we'll even cover the shipping charges!
How can I pressurize the can without pumping?
If you've ever used an air compressor to pump up a bicycle tire, then you already know how!
Do I have to use a special compressor?
No, in fact, our favorite compressors are small and inexpensive.
How long will the can maintain pressure?
As with any pressurized can, the amount of pressure depends on the volume. In general, we find the can holds enough pressure for an average sized home or yard. Our pest control technicians like to repressurize the can when they refill it. Usually once around the yard, refill & repressurize, and then inside the home.
Can I pressurize it too much?
The Wik includes a pressure relief valve designed to prevent overpressurization.
This is a new product - are you sure it works?
The Wik has gone through extensive testing for both durability and ease of use. Pest control technicians have been using these in every day operation for over two years - and they love them! In fact, our testers don't ever want to go back to their original caps.
How hard is it to replace my old cap?
Remove the old cap and pump assembly, then remove the gasket. Place the gasket in the Wik and screw the cap in place - it's as simple as that.
What else do I need to know?
As with any professional product, follow all manufacturer guidelines. Never exceed the can manufacturer's recommended guidelines. This product has not been evaluated or endorsed by B & G.
We are so sure you'll love our cap, J & P Products will take it back if you don't love it! Here's the fine print:
